I purchased an iMac in early 2007 that came with iWeb which I used to build our website. In 2010 our computer crashed destroying all our files including the iWeb application and the template which the website was constructed in. After having the Apple Store install a new hard drive and OSX (10.6.8) with all the applications that originally came with the computer when I bought it, I learned that Apple had discontinued their iWeb application and no longer offered or supported it. In other words, our website was now dead-in-the-water with no iWeb application available to edit the files which can now only be viewed on the host (Godaddy) server.
Recently I was fortunate enough to find a tech who was able to load an old version of iWeb (3.0.4) onto our computer but now I seem to have a new problem. Although I can download the files via our (Fetch) FTP, I can't seem to figure out how to load them into the iWeb application so that I can once again edit and upload to the server.
If you know, and can teach me, how to successfully download from Fetch into iWeb and then back up to Godaddy with the newly edited files, I will be happy to pay you for your services and be eternally grateful.
Thanks for taking the time to read and understand this problem.
