Seeking longer term (at least 8 months) Residential Work Exchange within 20 MILES OF ASHEVILLE, NC.
Intelligent older female in need of living quarters in exchange for part-time work (residential work exchange) in the local area while I pay off debt incurred due to the hurricane making me homeless and jobless for almost a year. I prefer a small home, inlaw suite, garage / basement apartment, or good sized RV, but would consider a room in a home as well. N. I have 40 yrs of various experience/careers including IT management, Real Estate, Neuromuscular therapy, and Sales.
My skills are:
1. Property Mgt - Managing leases, advertising, handling customers, cleanup crew, renovations, etc. (Ex-Realtor & Property manager 7 yrs).
2. Estate House Manager - Organizing, coordinating, scheduling, hiring. delegating work and managing employees of the Estate (Gardners, house maids contractors, etc.)
3. Business Assistant - Writing/editing, computer work (IT degree), bookkeeping, event planning, running office/business, pickup and deliveries,
4. Personal Assistant - Sorting & organzing clutter, Estate or home cleanups (online sales, in-home sales and donating - 20 yrs exp), running errands, grocery shopping, mowing lawns, stacking wood (skilled w/ wood splitter), yard clean up, gardening (green thumb), painting, and home decorating (love this!).
5. Pet Care - Caring for cats, dogs, ducks, chickens or other pets (animal lover, ex-animal rescuer, and some farm animal work)
6. Helping/caring for Elderly - Transporting to grocery/doctors appts. etc., light chores, administering meds, keeping schedule for any events, being a companion (playing cards/puzzles/movies) etc. (Have cared for wheelchair bound patients in home & 10 yrs as a neuromuscular therapist working w/ patients.) Not a good candidate for bed-ridden or constant nursing care so elderly must be mobile (I work part-time and I can no longer lift patients).
I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs (AT ALL). I am more of a holistic healing, healthy eater type and am clean, quiet, peaceful, responsible, mature, and very honest with integrity!
