I am another one of those transplants from the far northwest where I owned a home/farm for many years. I am not perfect, but I work hard at good communication, living lightly on this earth, cook great meals that I enjoy sharing, practice yoga, and believe that life is much better in a shared situation, than in individual boxes. I know that there is a place for me here, and I shall find it!
My dogs are of great joy and they want a yard that they can call their own. They are certified as hospice dogs, ten years old, and have better references than I do! They are on a raw diet, get out with me everyday for adventures and frequently travel with me to see patients.
I am not looking for a place to flop, but a place to invest time and energy into making a healthy and happy home for all. I work part time, create art, enjoy the outdoors, and am planning on doing the Asheville Community Yoga Teachers training this fall and winter.
I am currently living in Swannanoa with a friend. He will happily tell you I am tidy, love to mow grass, weed the garden, and am phenomenally responsible with my life and my dogs.
I left the northwest behind and have worked as a travel nurse for the past three years, seeing and investigating parts of this beautiful land that called my name. Asheville speaks to me for many reasons, and I am here for a while. I have bedroom furniture, lovely artwork, wonderful kitchen things and seek a home where thankfulness is a part of the landscape.
Too much to ask? I do not think so, just have not turned over enough rocks! I am 61, and have traveled the world, climbed mountains, hiked the PCT, and lived an adventurous life.
We will find a home to share with like minded folks, I know it!
