The lower level has good windows, plenty of fresh air, ceiling fans, central ac/heat, and natural light. It stays very warm in the winter, and nice and cool in the Summer.
I live on the property in the main house and occupy the top floor. Single guy, 42. Work from home half the time and in the field half the time. I am typically in and out throughout the day, and sleep during reasonable hours of 11pm/12ish-7/8am during the week. I am up later on the weekends typically bc I DJ 1x/week on average, but quiet and ready to pass out when I come back home.
There is a tenant living in the apartment above the garage across the driveway. She is great. She’s been here for 15 months. She has two Australian Shephards dogs who are sweethearts. They are very nice dogs to have on the property.
I’ve lived in AVL for 18 yrs, and I’ve lived at this house for 15 yrs. I am a respected member of the community, and I know the neighbors well. All nice people.
Available now. $1,000/mo inc. all utilities (electric, water, hot water, heat/cool, dedicated internet line, trash).
No pets allowed. If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend/partner, there is going to be a limit on how much they sleep here. I am looking to share my home with one person. Please understand I don’t want two people living here w/ me full time.
Month-to-month with 60 day notice. First month, last month, and security deposit equal to one month rent due at lease signing. I’ve always had success with this model (10+ years) and allows flexibility for both sides.
I've had great tenants over the years, and this is a perfect place for all sorts of different needs (life reset, arts, learning a new craft, homebase, hanging out in nature, etc...)
10 min to nearest grocery, 15 min to S. AVL, 25 min to downtown AVL, 20 min to I-40/240 intersection E. AVL, 22 min to Airport, 30 min to W. AVL.
