we (david, annie, &; our small cat momo) want to start a vegan/freegan housing co-op in asheville.
we plan to move to Asheville on September 1st. we are seeking six to nine young-ish folks interested in densely cohabitating a house in Asheville, splitting rent &; utilities, sharing costs for bulk kitchen staples, cooking vegan together, &; establishing ourselves as a community (with dumpster diving! &; music! &; being kinda punk!)
this is us: we've both spent the past year (give or take a few months) living/working in community at a middle school boarding house with adults & adolescents so we are no strangers to the generative/mildly chaotic business of cohabitation. also both practiced at cooking large tasty meals, cleaning community spaces, bathroooms, & playing a lot of board games.
david saulsbury (he/him/his aged 23) is excited by: radical community living, urban farming, beekeeping, composting toilets, stick&poke tattoos
annie livingston (she/her/hers or they/them/theirs aged 23) is excited by: poetry, radical softness, tomatoes, alternative education, zines, environmentalism, queerness
Momo, cat, is excited by: bugs, pepperoni, &; attention
