11/12 Van Ride Offer Asheville, NC to Luray, VA Near Shenandoah (Asheville, NC)

ride offered

I'm driving my '97 ford van up to Luray, VA area with my two cats on 11/12 after stopping near Asheville around 2pm. Hope to leave by 2:30 or so for the 6 hour drive. I can easily do the drive myself, but may enjoy help driving if you have plenty of experience. I'm mostly really hoping to find someone to contribute towards Gas/vehicle expenses. I'll be camping at Crisman Hollow in Luray, about 20 minutes west of the Walmart in Luray, VA. I could drop you off near Luray or along the way.

I can drop you off anywhere along my route and may be open to drive closer to the NOVA/DC area though my final destination is around Shenandoah national park. I'm headed to a free campsite near Luray or Woodstock or somewhere in this area, perhaps further south in the GW forest.

Please text or email me if you'd like to join.

Tell me if you have experience driving a van and how many miles you've driven so I have a sense of your experience. And if you have a clean driving record.

Let me know how much you can contribute towards fuel and van wear/tear.

My cost: I get 15mpg. And I think it's nearly a 400 mile trip or so. So around 27 gallons X 2.50 means I'll spend around $67ish on fuel. I'm poor so looking for help with this.

Plus $25-45 maintenance costs. Tire/brake wear tear etc.

Thanks for reading, Peace :)

BTW, on the 25th in the AM I'll most likely be driving from Alexandria, VA towards Ocala national forest in Florida in case anyone wants to help drive, contribute towards fuel.
