Established Asheville vintage store is seeking a highly motivated, creative, friendly and driven, weekend or full time sales associate for our brick and mortar location. We're looking for someone who is outgoing and loves talking to customers, self directed, detail oriented, proficient in math and cash handling and into doing everything from helping a party of four find 1970s outfits to mopping the floor. Knowledge and previous experience with vintage clothing is a plus but not required. However, a love of vintage is a requirement! Skills in sewing, social media, marketing, merchandising, event production, writing, photography, and graphic design a huge plus.
Must have a minimum of 1 year fast paced sales/retail experience. Must have weekend availability and be able to work a minimum of three days per week. Full time also available. Pay based on experience.
Basic responsibilities include:
Keeping the store clean and organized
Running a register and cashier accountability
Providing exemplary customer service
Stocking and back stocking; Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, and loss.
Brainstorming with coworkers about new displays, marketing strategies, etc.
Maintain supplies for store operations
Follow company policies and procedures
