About Me
I am a PhD student and animal lover living in Sylva, NC. I have more than ten years of experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays at your home. I would love to take your pup on my hiking adventures on the Blue Ridge Parkway and spoil them afterwards with a Starbucks pup cup. I have extensive experience caring for senior, shy, and/or reactive pups. I’ve owned several senior animals and am comfortable giving your fur baby medications and injections, if needed. I treat all pets that I care for with the same love and respect that I give my own animals. You never need to worry about your pet being lonely while you’re away! At drop-in visits, I’m never in a rush and I always spend extra time at each visit dishing out treats, playing, and hanging out with your pets. I would love to spend a few hours cuddled up on the couch with your fur baby while I work on my PhD dissertation. I always adhere to your pet’s feeding schedule and will follow any directions exactly as you specify. I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby behind. So, you can expect regular photos and updates via text or email while you’re away. Rest assured that you’ll return from your trip to a spoiled, happy pup with a tummy full of treats. If you have an unconventional pet, multiple pets, or farm animals (horses, cattle, pigs, goats, etc.) that’s no problem! I’ve owned horses and have experience with a variety of unique animals. Please message me with a few details about your unique fur family and your pet sitting needs and I’ll be happy to provide pricing details.I am a PhD student so my schedule is very flexible. I will have plenty of time to play with and walk your fur baby. I always adhere to your pet’s feeding and walking schedule.I am located in Sylva, NC and accept bookings for drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays at your home. For drop in visits and dog walking, I accept clients in Sylva, Waynesville, Cullowhee, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska, and Franklin. For overnight or multiple night stays, I am available to travel a bit further to Bryson City, Cashiers/Highlands, Canton, Asheville, etc. For first time bookings, I will arrange a complimentary meet and greet to ensure that you and your pet feel happy and comfortable. During this time, we can review your pet’s schedule and go over any special needs (such as dietary requirements or medications). For overnight stays, I am a tidy house guest who will leave your home sparking clean. I am a non-smoker and I follow all house rules you provide. I’m very active and would love to take your fur baby along on walks, hikes, and trips to the coffee shop, with your permission.About My Services
I offer:
- House Sitting: $55 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
- Drop-In Visits: $25 per visit. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
- Dog Walking: $20 per walk. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
