The two of us perform in a three piece (Diamond back trio) with a midi keyboardist but Emily and I want to do another project with different material. We have developed a great reputation and will be performing New Years Eve at the Mt Mitchell Golf and Country club, public welcome ( look up their website for info).
We have a decent PA system with 6500 watts of clean power, trucks, trailer, and I own a business that Emily works for so scheduling is up to our whims. I also have a studio in my home.
We need pro level folks who WILL put in the time AT HOME so studio time is efficient and needed only to get set lists solid, then gigging should be the biggest reason we get together.
We need a bassist, lead, rhythm guitars and maybe keys. Musical selections to be decided but expect to play songs that get people up and dancing. I enjoy singing lead while playing drums and Emily is amazing at the front of the stage. Players with good harmonies a plus and don't be afraid to sing leads here and there as well.
I do have several venues in the Spruce Pine, Boone, Burnsville area that want us to provide music throughout the spring-fall and we are not shy about some travel as well.
I hope to hear from some good players soon as springtime will be here soon.
