A 2 channel preamp, roughly based on a NEVE 1272 topology. But these boutique mic./line preamps (built in Texas) have a unique 3-gain-stage design (3 separate gain pots), with huge proprietary transformers. Tons of gain, that can be sweet and clean, or driven into Neve warmth, saturation and compression . Superbly musical high pass filter, phantom power, phase , and a mic. Impedance switches. Two top notch, high end preamps.
The IGS VANAD 500 is a mic/instrument preamp is transformer balanced on inputs and outputs using custom transformers. All regulators on the front panel are stepped (switches). Huge ladder LED meter display.
