Vintage 1977 Ibanez "Randy Scruggs" model 2671, from their Professional Series. Based on the serial number lookup, this looks to have been made in December 1977.
This is one of the most beautiful Ibanez Professional series guitars ever made and a rare opportunity to own this classic piece of guitar history.
The 2671 is an Ibanez Professional series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1975. It was made in Japan by FujiGen. It is associated with American country music artist Randy Scruggs. The 2671 features a carved ash single-cutaway body with German carve edges, abalone purfling and cream binding mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and mother-of-pearl vintage tree of life vine inlays which are continued on the large scroll headstock. Components include a pair of Super 70 Flying Finger humbucking pickups mounted in black pickup rings with individual volume and tone controls and a phase toggle for the neck pickup, a Tune-O-Matic style bridge and fancy stop tailpiece, speed knobs with pointers and Ibanez Pat Pending gold tuning machines.

This instrument is very clean overall & comes in its original hard case. I believe everything on the guitar is original. The case is in fair condition - the tolex covering is coming off, and the handle is missing.
