These are made by Samick. Samick bought the Silvertone name, which was the old school Sears brand made in Chicago. These are excellent examples of value for your money. It comes with sealed gear tuners for hassle-free tuning. And little extra quality touches like a bound fretboard. It was fully serviced and thoroughly gone through along with a fretboard clean and oiled, polished frets and a new set of light strings. Good low action up and down the fretboard for ease of play. Excellent back up or beginner guitar. Quality with a budget in mind.
