Description:
Looking for someone with experience in irrigation, plumbing, or general farm work to help install a drip irrigation system on a small farm.
This is a straightforward setup using:
Poly tubing (mainline)
Drip tape (row irrigation)
Hose connections and fittings
Basic tools (punch tool, adapters, etc.)
Project Details:
Location: Near Candler / Asheville, NC
7 total rows (mix of 150’ and 75’)
Sunflower rows (double drip lines) + herb rows (single line)
System is already planned and materials are on site
Water source is a gas-powered pump
What I need help with:
Laying out mainline across rows
Punching and installing drip tape connections
Connecting fittings and securing lines
General setup and troubleshooting
Ideal person:
Experience with irrigation, landscaping, plumbing, or farming
Comfortable working outdoors
Detail-oriented (this is not just digging holes)
Can follow a plan and think through layout
Bonus if you have:
Drip irrigation experience
Small farm or garden setup experience
Pay:
Hourly or project-based (depending on experience)
Flexible — willing to pay for the right person
Timing:
Looking to start soon
Likely 1–2 days of work
