Living with chronic hives can be frustrating. Itching, swelling, and flare-ups can show up from things like cold air or even just rubbing your skin. Daily antihistamines don’t always provide enough relief.
A clinical research study is now enrolling adults with cold-induced urticaria (ColdU) or symptomatic dermographism (SD). This study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for people who continue to have symptoms despite treatment.
You may qualify if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have been diagnosed with ColdU or symptomatic dermographism for at least 3 months
- Still experience symptoms despite taking antihistamines
- Have been on a stable antihistamine dose for at least 4 weeks
If eligible, study-related care and the investigational treatment will be provided at no cost. Compensation for completed visits and travel may be available.
