About Lucky Elk
Lucky Elk is an e-commerce hemp company built on craft, consistency, and community. We partner with amazing small family farmers to curate the best hemp on the market. We treat our work as a daily ritual—showing up with care, intention, and pride to tell our farmers' stories and ship their premium products to our customers. We are building something meaningful, and we are looking for a leader who is genuinely stoked to be part of a fast-moving, quality-driven team.
The Role
We are looking for a Fulfillment Manager to serve as the operational heartbeat of our warehouse. This is a "player-coach" role. You won’t just be sitting behind a desk; you will be on the floor managing workflow, troubleshooting e-commerce issues, and leading a team of 10+ employees to ensure our 250+ daily orders are shipped with speed and precision.
You are the right fit if you love systems, enjoy mentoring a team, and can stay grounded and positive when the pace picks up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Culture
Lead by Example: Act as the active operational leader on the floor, setting the tone for pace, quality, and attitude.
Training & Development: Onboard new hires and continuously train the team on SOPs, product knowledge, and best practices.
Workflow Management: Assign daily tasks, manage break schedules, and pivot resources as needed to hit daily shipping deadlines.
2. Operations & Fulfillment
Order Lifecycle: Own the fulfillment process from the moment an order is placed to the moment it leaves the dock. Ensure 100% accuracy and consistency.
SOP Enforcement: Ensure all packaging and shipping protocols are followed with intention—we represent our farmers' hard work, and we want every customer to feel that quality when they open their box.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant fulfillment workspace. Identify workflow gaps and implement process improvements.
3. E-Commerce & Inventory
Platform Management: Manage order flow within our e-commerce platform (Shopify experience highly preferred). Handle basic troubleshooting regarding shipping labels or order errors.
Inventory Control: Assist with inventory counts, product availability updates, and system accuracy to prevent stockouts or overselling.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, or e-commerce.)
Tech Savvy: Strong familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, ShipStation, etc.) is essential.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with hemp products or regulated consumer goods is a major plus.
Soft Skills: You are a clear communicator who respects systems and structure. You stay calm under pressure and can de-escalate stress during high-volume periods.
Physical Requirements: Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Why Join Lucky Elk?
Impact: We value thoughtful growth. Your ideas on how to improve our systems will be heard and implemented.
Culture: We work hard, support each other, and take pride in doing things the right way. No cutting corners.
The Future: We are a company on the rise. This is a chance to build your career alongside a brand that cares about quality and community.
