1997 Ford LN-7000. That's according to the VIN- however, door sticker says its a 1996. 26 foot Straight Moving/Delivery Truck- originally a fleet DHL truck, and has been well maintained. It has 172,000 miles on Cummins B series 5.9 L re-manufactured in 2006. Always starts right up without hesitation- even in the cold. The Allison Automatic Transmission shifts perfectly. I have clear Title in hand. Truck runs flawlessly, is solid and actually gets great fuel mileage. Tires are in very good shape as well, with plenty of tread. Air brakes work perfectly. Mirror frame chrome is in excellent shape- no rust. All glass is in great shape- no dings, cracks or "old haze". Frame is solid and very little rust to speak of for its age. We bought in order too move parents across the country with the intention to sell after use. It did the job beautifully and is a great truck, ready to go work for you! Here are the Cons: The rear 2-panel swing doors are a bit rough and could probably use replacement soon, although they are satisfactorily functional. Front hood has been replaced at some point with one from a L-7000 model truck so the shade of yellow is slightly different than the rest of the body- but it does fit and perform perfectly. There is a slight, intermittent air leak from inside the dash panel so occasionally once it sits overnight it loses some or all pressure and needs to idle for about 8 minutes to fully recharge. Because its intermittent, it seems to be humidity, temperature or maybe vibration related. I bet its just a simple loose fitting or worn seal-, but because it didn't bother me at all, it just wasn't worth my time to take apart the dash to try and fix it. Also, you can see there is a small tear in the side of the box- easily fixable. Its an older truck, so there are a few minor dents and dings, but less than might be expected. We put up some interior shelving and brackets which we can either can leave or remove for you. Its a very good truck and we would not be selling it, but for the fact that we just don't need a moving truck anymore. BTW...This truck would make a GREAT House Truck RV Conversion....
