I accidentally bought a GFCI / Decor style after paying for shipping and tax directly from SnapPower. I wanted this in the bathroom for the storm light for when we have a power loss to have 6 hours of light in the bathroom- plus the dusk to dawn nightlight without using up an outlet. It costs too much to mail it back for the old style duplex non GFCI I needed.
Installs in seconds. NO Wiring!
SnapPower Stormlight Power failure light up to 6 hrs AND dusk to dawn, plus keep using both plugs unlike using a nightlight White GFCI in white.
GFCI Only - For use on GFCI and GFI outlets (Test and Reset buttons) only. It will not work with Light Switches or standard Decora outlets.
DUSK-TO-DAWN SENSOR - The StormLight will provide a soft downlight, similar to the GuideLight, while you home is powered normally.
POWER FAILURE LIGHT - If your power goes out, StormLight's built-in battery backup activates additional extra-bright LED safety lighting. The battery will provide light for up to 6 hours during a blackout.
AUTO RECHARGE - When the power returns, after a power failure, the backup battery will recharge itself automatically.
SIDE SCREWS REQUIRED - Before purchase, remove your current outlet cover and visually check if your outlet has screws on the side. Most outlets in the US and Canada are this way, but we encourage you to check just in case your outlet is not compatible.
