An old (about 60 years) set of Royal Doulton English translucent China with 41 pieces. This set got little to no use but was simply displayed in a China cabinet. As a result, I do not see any chips or cracks. The set could use a careful washing after all these years of storage/display.
This set was a gift to my in-laws from family in Nottingham, England (note that the small original booklet is stamped “Jessops” which is probably where it was purchased in Nottingham.) Possibly a gift for their 25 anniversary which would have been in 1977.
I checked on-line for current retail prices for these particular pieces and the total came to about $700.
Sold for CASH ONLY (no checks, cashier’s checks, etc.) or PayPal or Venmo. Sold where is, as is, without warranty. Buyer must pick it up at my home in Hendersonville, North Carolina, or at a public spot near Hendersonville.
