'Moire' is a wavy watered appearance. It is very unusual to see on lace. The measurements are (lying flat): 40" wide, 34" total length, 31" long from 'rod pocket'. Besides the hole you can see in the photos, there are two that are lower down. If you need less length, they can be cut out which would give you a 25" length from the rod. Depending on how much of a gather you need for your particular window, the holes most likely would not even show? It has a sewn-in valance. This piece is not perfect (has a few holes which can easily be 'fixed' with white thread). Two of them are lower down and, depending on the size you need for your window, can be cut above them. It has one 'rod pockets' of 1.25" to slip in the rod of your choice. You can choose a pice of bamboo also from the back of my yard if you want to put bamboo in it. I washed this piece lovingly by hand using a very expensive special museum type fabric soap to bring out the best look possible for this antique piece and sun dried it thereafter. It has been in my house stored for over 25 years and, before that, was at my Mother's home until she passed. A very lovely piece deserving of a new home. By the way, I took photos of it against a black velvet background so that the pattern would stand out. It is actually a very white, very gauzy exquisite piece of lace.
