Vintage Imperial Provincial glassware in purple amethyst or plum color. Made between 1960 and 1966, this glassware pattern is a reissue of an A. H. Heisey & Co. glass pattern (1938-57) #1506. The pattern was originally called "Whirlpool" when it was introduced by Heisey about 1938. The name was changed to "Provincial" about 1952. It is unusual to find matching plates, bowls and goblets in such fine condition. They make a lovely table setting. A couple of the goblets have some mild clouding; I tried to get it to show up in photos but it really doesn't, however if held up in direct sunlight you can see that 2 of them are not as clear as the others. I don't think this would be an issue in use but am trying to be honest. All other pieces are beautiful with even little in the way of utensil marks although they were used (mainly by my grandmother's bridge club).
The plates are ~8.5", the bowls (called "nappy bowls") are ~5.5" and the goblets easily hold 8 oz and are ~5.75" high with 3" diameter. If interested, text or CL relay Lee with questions. Asking $160 for Four of the 3 piece place settings. Two of these sets are available. Will consider reasonable offers.
