A terry cloth belt can be used for curling hair. Simply wrap damp hair around the belt before going to bed, and you'll have soft curls in the morning without heat damage. There are videos on YouTube explaining how to do this. I have a vintage mid-century terry cloth belt that is extra-long. It can be cut and used for curling the hair multiple times. The belt is well made and sturdy, the way things were made back then. It measures 63 inches long and it's 1½ inches thick. There is some discoloration due to age. From a smoke-free and pet-free home.
