5 hens left, 10 months old. Started laying reliably 2 months ago. Most eggs are still medium sized, and are getting larger as the hens get older. I'm getting 5 medium sized eggs most days from these hens. They will be large to extra-large when hens are mature. Buy 3 or more hens and you get a free rooster.
I started these as chicks last summer, and a month later, I started French Guineas inside the same coop. The birds get along just fine in the same coop, but after tasting Guinea eggs, I decided to increase my guinea flock and reduce my chicken flock. Guinea eggs have a larger and higher fat yolk, which is better for my uses.
Price is a fraction of what it cost to buy and raise them to this age. It is not negotiable.
