This is the RealFlame firebox plus the metal case/mantle. Retails for $800 on Amazon.
Uses the RealFlame 4199 Standard Vivid Frame Firebox.
I bought this five years ago and have used maybe 12 hours.
I'd hoped it would serve as a less expensive alternative to a wood stove (very expensive) but its more for looks/ambiance then heat.
It will heat up to 1,000 sq ft, according to website, but that is not enough for my needs.
Thus is has rarely been used.
I have the remote and unit is in good shape.
**However, I did discard the plastic faux exhaust pipe as it didn't fit into my decor. I Do not have this any longer**
I have a record lack for my LPs on top, so there are some minor surface scratches on the metal faux fireplace.
Doesn't impact functionality or appearance unless you look closely under direct light.
Works as it should.
Entire unit retails for $800
RealFlame 4199 retails for $500 alone.
Asking $400 OBO for the pair (will not separate).
