Total height is about 20" tall. The legs alone are about 5.5" and can be screwed off if you don't want that extra height. The top cushion part is missing one 'button' and another button's metal part is there but not the cloth cover. This shows up in the photos. The fabric is a nice velour. It is a heavy and very substantial item. Supersize. Great for several people sitting together to put their legs up on. Great for the kids and grandkids to climb up on and play and sit on. Over $700 new. From an always pet-free and smoke-free home. The first photo shows it new.
