condition: fair
Notice all the 'turned wood' details. I assume it is oak. Bow back. Has USVA stamped on the bottom. Has a unique seat (layered in three parts). It seems there is only one layer of paint over the wood and it seems to come off very easily just by rubbing it off! A dish scrub square should be able to take it all off. "At first, furniture makers could only produce Windsor chairs with the comb back. Later on, during the 18th century, they began to use steam bending to produce chairs with a "bow" back. According to historians, the first Windsor "bow" chairs were shipped to London from Windsor in 1724."
