Solid wood sturdy strong substantial wooden chair. Measurements are ~ the seat is 15" x 16" and is 17" from the floor. The total height of the chair is 30.5". The legs are thick wood 1.25" thick. Has flathead screws, as well as Phillips screws. The original color appears to be a country farmhouse blue (a grey blue). My friend did a horrid job of painting it white. It has two very unusual metal brackets as support for the back legs (I have never seen this before anywhere). The seat is not just 'flat' but has an indentation giving it some character. There is bentwood underneath.
