It is antique and sits low to the ground. There is only 14" from floor to seat. Perfect for people who love old low chairs. Please not that the left arm is broken (a piece came off at the end) and the entire arm 'moves' (does not adhere strongly to the base.) Might be easier to just remove the entire arm and leave it with one arm. Not sure of the date of this. I am thinking maybe 1920's? I am trying to find out more about it. There is a nice wide seat on it on which the measurements are 16" x 20". The padding on the seat and on the back are good. From an always smoke-free and pet-free home. The entire width is 22" (since the tip of one of the arms is broken.) 33.5" is the total height. There are round small metal bits on all 4 feet (which can be removed). No tags nor names on it. The distinctive turned wood legs and stretchers suggest a 19th or early 20th-century piece. Desirable hardwood.
