My grandmother used to make candy on this piece of marble. She would put it in the freezer the day before she would be using it. Then she would pour her hot candy mixture on the cold marble and it would harden very quickly. Lots of bread makers and pie makers use these as well. People who make soap often use these. It is extremely heavy. I held onto it for years but I have no interest in making candy like she did. Porch/Home pick up only. I called a marble company and they charge over $1,000 for a piece of marble and she said my price was extremely low, but I need it gone - I'm downsizing. CASH only - no cash apps.
