on light, gauzy, cotton. The size is approximately 42" x 72". Some gold thread bands decorate the sides. It has three colors on it. I purchased this in Goa, India, back in the 1980's or 1990's. It is pre-owned. It has been in storage 'forever' in a pet-free and smoke-free home. I have washed it lovingly by hand and ironed it. It is of a very lightweight cotton (which India is famous for). It is not in perfect condition (see on of one of the photos where I lovingly sewed up a tear by hand). Decorate with it or wear it. A rare and unique item. Last image shows one I used to wear back in those long ago days and nights!
