1981 Wood Hanging Rack/Holder/Baseball - $15 (Asheville)

Vintage, wooden, rustic looking, hand-made, wooden rack (the sort you have just inside your front door when you walk in) (or wherever you might want to put it for whatever purpose).
Someone told us it was a display rack for a baseball bat, ball, mitt and cap. Others have said it was to hold a hair dryer, curling iron and straightener.
The size is 14 x 11 (longer than it is wide). It has two wooden dowel pegs in it, also something that appears that it could be an umbrella holder, and another round cut out for perhaps placing a bowl in for your set of keys you use whenever you go in and out. It was hand made by someone who incised their initials in the back, as well as the year made (1981). There are two hooks in the back to hang this object on a wall. It is untreated, unpainted wood.
Can be retrofitted to have a small shelf on top of the wood protruding to place keys, etc.
