I imagine if you are looking at these you are well aware of their place in audio history . .
I'm the original owner. They are in very good shape with hardly any nicks. They have been well cared for, even rack mounted for many years so hardly any movement. Obviously if you are looking at this you are aware these pieces are sought after. Designed by Nelson Pass. A lot of stereo for the money. Great sounding with good phono pres etc. The GFP-555 pre was designed to complement the GFA-555 amp so they go well together. The speaker selector comes in handy if one wants to run multiple speakers. Very Good shape to excellent shape considering the age. 200 watts @ 8 ohms is a lot of power to run all kind of speakers. It's a more than fair price seeing how these are in such good shape, well cared for and I am the only owner. If interested we will meet in a secure location. Thanks

From a review . .'It is difficult to comment on the sound of the GFA-555. It is obviously a superb amplifier by any objective standard. As we have found, A/B comparisons with other amplifiers are fruitless, and none of the speakers we had on hand presented the kind of load that would reveal the special qualities of an amplifier like the GFA-555.
