For sale 1997 GMC Suburban "Work Truck" 5.7Liter. Very good mechanical condition. Has 260,000 miles. Bought 16 years ago it had 175000 miles and have had zero problems with it to this date. Has all the heavy duty trailering options available at that time. Trailered a boat twice a year to nearby lake. Otherwise it was my daily driver/work truck. I've stayed on top of all significant mechanical issues replacing brakes , calipers, alternator, EGR valve , plugs, inside fan and resistor, new battery this month, oil change and trans fluid change, LIKE NEW all terrain tires. Zero engine or transmission issues. Engine is clean and runs smooth and quiet, shifts perfectly, this vehicle is ready for immediate use with no hesitation. A/C does work but does need a can of R134 every spring to blow cold for summertime. Have purchased compressor, oil, Orifice tube, accumulator and miscellaneous items to replace come spring are included. Front Bench seats OK, rear seats and bed not pretty ( it's a "work truck" not a people hauler.). Paint on hood and around door giving up the clear coat, silver dollar size rust thru on one quarter panel. Many little items need attention inside like a radio knob and a sunken passenger lockout switch , plastic dome light bezel, etc. The only reason I'm selling this car is I found an AWD suburban I need to more reliably put a boat in and out of muddy boat ramps.
P.S. It also has a very long crack along the perimeter of the windshield. I've been driving with it like that since I got it as it does not obstruct my view.
Price is firm.
