Offering for sale this gorgeous fine Chinese porcelain Rose Canton 18" umbrella stand with the following fine features:

- Hand-made in China circa 1960s
- Main color is rose with a myriad of other colors, including gold, pink, maroon, purple, yellow, green and white
- Hand-painted in rich overglaze enamels with some texture (relief)
- Two panels depict traditional courtyard scenes, traditionally dressed Chinese men and women in a garden pavilion setting
- Two panels depicting floral scenes with exotic birds are between the figural panels
- The borders are a repeating pattern of pink and green foliage
- Prominent parcel gilt trim
- Measures 18.5" tall x 8" wide
- Weighs approximately 7 pounds 10 ounces
- Traditionally used for umbrellas and walking sticks, but used more contemporarily as a tall floor vase
- In outstanding condition, with no significant or noteworthy imperfections
- Maker's mark on bottom, along with a sticker that reads: "Gump's By Mail" referring to Gump's of San Francisco, a luxury American home furnishings and home d├ęcor retailer founded in 1861
