Williamsburg C50 Delft Biblical Mixing Jug or Posset Pot. The original was made in Southwark (London) circa 1640; this is a 20th century reproduction, made and sold for a short time for Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, VA. White & blue, near-mint condition (a tiny chip has been found on the rim), now hard to find. Decorated with scenes of Elijah & St. Francis of Assisi, this is an exact replica of an artifact discovered in an archeological dig in Williamsburg. Hand potted and painted like the original, made by the Oud Pottery in Nijmegen, Holland, in 1967.
