From my late mother's childhood collection of miniatures gathered in the 1940s:
A wooden mortar & pestle. Mortar is a shade over 1" tall, pestle is 1 3/4" long. $20
A hand-painted pottery pitcher made in Italy. White with floral highlights, 1 1/2" tall. $20
A ceramic basket, made in Japan. White. 1" x 5/8" x 1". $30
A peach pit basket - a tiny carved decorative basket. In US history these kinds of items carved from peach pits began to be seen in the 1860's, created by Civil War soldiers with a lot of time on their hands - I don't believe this one is that old. 1" tall. $20
A peach pit monkey. A delightfully detailed image of a monkey biting its own tail, intricately carved from a peach pit. 1 1/2" long. $30
A small decorated pitcher made in Mexico. Terra cotta, maroon with black, white & cream stripes and designs. 2 3/4" tall. $25
