Rare and unusual. This piece has been in our family home 'forever' ~ We have always loved birds and special woods! Feels great to hold it!
It has a diameter of 3 inches and is about 3/4 of an inch thick. Found it in my parents' attic. It appears to be satinwood and has a brass bird on a branch inlaid into the wood. Doesn't have a hook or anything in the back (but one could be put in if you want to hang it). Or can be used as a paperweight as it is quite thick. Would make a great present for the bird lover in your life.
