16" x 20" Lithograph print of The Hay Wain by the English artist John Constable. The original oil painting was completed in 1821 and is one of Constable's most famous works and is housed in the National Gallery in London. The painting depicts a rural scene on the River Stour near Flatford Mill in Suffolk, with a wooden wagon (called a "wain") crossing the water. This lithograph print on thick board was made by "Winde Fine Prints" around 1960 who produced lithographs on textured board to simulate brush strokes in the mid-20th century. A pleasant Bucolic Scene from a long ago past. I do have a frame that it would fit into I can include with this sale.
