Framed antique artwork from "Prince Trixie or Baby Brownie's Birthday" by Elbridge H. Sabin, illustrated by Frances Beem (1881-1971). Rand McNally & Co, 1914. My late mother left several of her childhood treasures to me, including books of fantasy with wonderful color plates. Though this book was unsalvageable, 7 color plates from Prince Trixie are framed and available for desktop display or wall mounting. Whimsical pictures of fairies and woodland creatures. Most of the plates have faint age spots, which only adds to the sense of ancient mystery. $30 each.
