Even if you hate math, you'll love creating these beautiful geometric mandalas using curve-stitching, a form of string art invented by Mary Everest Boole in the mid-1800's. In this fascinating workshop, paper crafter, Barbara Mueller, will show you how to turn a seemingly complicated process into a fun, easy, and highly-satisfying activity.

You'll start by simply drawing angles, dividing them into segments, and connecting the dots. Once you're comfortable creating parabolas--the basis of curve-stitching--the real fun begins! You'll move onto making paper snowflakes. Then, you'll divide your "pattern" into segments, start stitching, and watch as your one-of-a-kind mandala magically appears!
