The Standard Concert Guide by George P. Upton.

Covers the symphonies, orchestrations, concerts, and musicals of the world's most renown and respected musical composers.

An absolute epic collection with over 400 pages, scores of illustrations, and musical transcriptions.

Copyright 1917.

Book is in incredible condition considering its age. The cover, binding, and inside pages are all in excellent condition. There is an inscription written on a blank page at the very beginning of the book, but it's very tastefully done and adds to the charm of the book. The inscription is written in neat, script handwriting and dated 1920, Mars Hill, N.C. The inscription states the book is "Presented to" Bernice Stringfield by Harrie Dobson.

Covers the works of Bach, Beethoven, Berlioz, Borodin, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Handel, Liszt, Moskowski, Mozart, Nicolai, Rachmaninov, Reger, Reznicek, Rossini, Schumann, Sibelius, Sinding, Sinigaglia, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Wagner, Weber, and many more.

Also included is a Preface, Table of Contents, List of Illustrations, Appendix, Glossary, and Index.
