Solid wood. We think it is from mid 1800's to early 1900's. This all wood small antique chair has a footprint of 17.25 (legs up front), 14.5 (legs in the back) and 17" deep. It is 35 inches tall. The seat tapers from 17.25 in the front to 14.5 in the back and has unusual accent on the corners. The seat is missing and can be re-caned or finished with a tooled leather or a fiber board tooled seat. Flat head screws ~ metal tips on all 4 legs. Photos at the end show what it could look like with alternatives to caning. I oiled it with linseed oil recently.
