"Johnny Giraffe" by Marjorie Barrows, illustrated by Nell Stolp Smock, is a delightful vintage children's picture book first published in 1935. My mother's copy has fallen apart, but many of the pages remain in good shape, filled with the magical artwork by Smock. Pictures in color ($30) and in b&w ($20) might make cute art for a children's room, or delight anyone who loves whimsical art of giraffes and other playful animals. Many of the pictures have small drawing in line with the text.
