Housing is located on a working organic farm. A team of 5 people work full time onsite and live in various dwellings across 53 acres of pasture, gardens, forest, a creek, and a pond. We all love our lives here!
Located 45 min drive to Asheville, between Old Fort and Marion.
Housing info:
-Tiny house bedroom with porch. Electric, WiFi, AC, no water hookup in bedroom.
-Access to shared kitchen, shower, outhouse (separate building).
-Washer and clothesline
-Pets are not allowed. Farm already has 3 cats and a working livestock guardian dog.
-Access to B grade vegetables as available
- $500 per month OR 8 hr/week of farm work
You must:
-Be comfortable and experienced living rurally. Closest grocery store is 20 minutes away.
-Be respectful of all human animal and plant life on the farm
-Abide by all guidelines laid out in housing agreement
If interested, please send email detailing your experience living rurally, why you are interested in the housing, and whether you are interested in rental payment or work/trade. Farm experience is required for work/trade. Multiple rounds of interviews will be conducted to find the right fit and we will be requesting references.
