This large (1400+ sf), 2-BR, partly furnished apt is now available. It's a lovely, sunny apartment with hard wood floors, french doors, high ceilings, crown molding, lots of tall windows, 2 gas fireplaces, central heat and air, plus ceiling fans. The kitchen has a large Stainless steel refrigerator with french doors and bottom freezer, a gas stove, pull-down kitchen faucet, dishwasher, and breakfast table. $1700 rent includes all utilities except electric, AND reliable, High-speed WIFI (1 GPS). Plus there's a shared washer and dryer use for free.

The apartment now is only partly/sparsely furnished and all can be removed if desired (although, there are a few pics with furniture so you can see more what it's like when furnished). One bedroom has a queen bed and dresser, the other is empty and could be used as a bedroom or office. Each bedroom has it's own private toilet at night (one of which has a warm bidet!) and we recently installed a custom made shower. Both bedrooms are fairly large, each with 3 windows and a propane fireplace.

The building is a 2-story, well-built, Craftsman style farmhouse that was converted into a "community house" with 4+ apartments and 9 bedrooms. Each resident either lives in their own apartment, or shares one with 1-2 others. Thus everyone has ample privacy as well as having great folks around - the best of both worlds! Plus on site are 2 RV pads adding 3 residents - all long-term. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and easy to get along with (ages 20s-70s).

This community house is geared for residents to live more connected, sustainable lives. Thus we have raised bed organic gardens with a rain barrel and compost bins nearby. There's also a back patio to enjoy spontaneous conversations. While the home is in a private, semi-rural area, it's also just 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Asheville. And it's near the APAC park which has an 18-hole Disk Golf Course, volleyball courts, soccer fields and walking trails.
