Section 8 and other HAP Voucher Holders encouraged to apply (or other similar assistance is accepted.) Two homes with this floorplan will be available mid April. Both homes are located in the same area off Huffman Road/Bear Creek Road in West Asheville.

APPLICATION STANDARDS:
-We will need great references for anyone interested.
-We will require an application from every person over the age of 18.
-We'll run criminal background, credit, and we'll verify income.
-We'll also call past landlords, employers and references. Those will need to be great references.
It is $45 per application. Security deposit will be determined upon application review but will likely be one to two months rent. You will need to be able to pay that deposit within 24-hrs of being approved, and before you move in. If you're a voucher holder, and this is your first time renting from a private landlord, please verify if AHA will be able to assist you with a deposit. Otherwise, having the funds yourself will be your best option.
This is a privately managed set of duplexes by a local Asheville based landlord and her small team. These homes are in a nice neighborhood and being nice neighbors is essential. Manager works very hard to make sure folks who move in will be a long-term happy resident and get along well with others. Management is onsite regularly and we encourage neighbors to look out for one another and report when something seems out of place. There's a ZERO TOLLERANCE policy for crime of any kind by residents or their guests.
