This position is for an upbeat, energetic, self-starter who is able to work independently while meeting deadlines. The Candidate should have a minimum 2 years prior bookkeeping and Payroll experience and will be working directly with multiple clients. Must be available to meet with clients daily in our office and attend staff meetings. This is not a remote position. Applicant will work from our office. Testing and interviews will be in our office.
This position will provide exposure to a variety of duties in the Bookkeeping Department. Most of our work is stored via electronic means making a less paper environment. Computer skills with accounting software, spreadsheets and word processing required, along with the ability to quickly learn software and processes and procedures. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Payroll processing along with Quarterly and Annual reports
Processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
Preparing Financial Statements
General ledger processes including adjusting journal entries.
Sales Tax and Property Tax Reporting
Assist Clients with various bookkeeping needs
Proficient with use of Computer and other electronic equipment.
Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop and Online as well as and other accounting systems.
Proficient with Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills
Tax background is a plus but not necessary.
Must be able to pass background check.
