Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance, Asheville's contemporary ballet company, is looking for a part-time intern/volunteer, starting ASAP. A working knowledge of quickbooks, good organizational skills and friendly personality are required. The position offers a chance to make connections in the arts, business and non-profit communities, free tickets to shows and events as well as free ballet classes if interested.

This is a great opportunity to acquire hands on experience working both in the accounting field and the non-profit sector. Your help would be needed for approximately 8 hrs per week, working in conjunction with the company's artistic director, board treasurer (a certified CPA), and board chair.

Some duties would include...
- updating the treasurer, chair & AD on all bills and other financial correspondence
- entering transactions into quickbooks (work will be checked monthly by treasurer)
- making merchant account deposits
- writing tax-letters for donors
- keeping the office organized
