Property Details
I can’t write eloquently enough and the pictures can’t truly do sufficient justice to this wonderful and beautiful Lodge. It’s simply perfect and offers so many unique features that it’s hard to know where to start.
This brand new, three bedrooms, 3 bath lodge is located only about 10 miles from downtown Murphy on Wells Lake in a very private neighborhood. There are no neighbors close by and while you can see a few homes across the lake it simply adds to the charm. The large back yard has a wonderful fire pit, great landscaping and a large dock right on the lake. Take a swim if you like; it’s cool, safe and refreshing. If you’d rather take a walk and explore, then this really is the neighborhood for you.
The entire cabin was built in a lodge style, with giant logs, lots of rock and beautiful wood throughout. It is LUXURIOUS and the attention to detail has made this home cozy, comfortable and completely out of the ordinary. The furnishings in the lodge are in keeping with the “feel” of the mountains. They are beautiful, rustic, new and tasteful.
There is a stunning wood burning rock fireplace in the living room that spans nearly an entire wall. The same fireplace opens into the master bedroom and uses gas burning logs. It’s perfect for the romantic or for cold evenings. The living room has a large TV, comfy couches and beautiful wood end tables. The dining room has a beautiful wood table, antler chandelier and unique breakfront. The kitchen is well thought out with modern and upscale appliances, rock counter bar with stools, woodland views out the windows and stunning décor.
There are three bedrooms, the master being on the main floor. The master bedroom has the gas log fireplace I mentioned before, a TV, attractive log queen size bed, new wood bedroom furniture and a view of the great deck and private back yard. The master bath is connected to the bedroom and is oversized. It has a double sink, a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
The upper deck is really gorgeous and looks out over the lake. The deck is made with large logs and log siding. There is a BBQ gas grill and a great outdoor table and four chairs for dining. The view from the deck is wonderful and the four rockers make it a joy just to sit, rock and relax…..And so what if it rains? It’s a covered deck complete with outdoor lighting and a paddle fan. This lodge has it all.
Downstairs has a great room and two bedrooms that tote the same tasteful furnishings, great views of the lake and back yard. One bedroom has a queen size bed; the other bedroom had two twins. There is a complete bathroom for them to share.
The area this cabin is in is upscale and private, the lake is peaceful and clean, the trip to town a breeze. There are beautiful views from nearly every window in the home and I just know you will love this “Private Lake Lodge in the Mountains”.

Oh and did we mention the VIEW and the Privacy???? You can see the mountain ranges from the decks and main living area as well as from the loft. There are no homes on the road that we are located on and the houses that you can see are a distance that affords the Blue Vista the privacy that our guests so enjoy. All you need to bring is clothing and food. We supply the rest. You will definitely feel like you have gotten away from it all when you spend time at the Blue Vista.
Special Attention: We have community rights to the Highlands River Pavilion for BBQ's, Fishing and Family gatherings. The Pavilion is at the bottom of our mountain and there is a large sign that points to it. The Pavilion itself has a Private sign on it as it is accessible by the Highlands only.

Our philosophy is we would rather have guests in our home every week at a more than reasonable price than have an occasional rental at a higher price. I think you will find our prices a lower than the average for a cabin with the views, charm and close location to downtown Murphy and shopping that we offer. By the way, our weeks are a full 7 nights.

DESCRIPTION
Our cabin is a unique home located less than 2 miles from downtown Murphy and just three miles from Ingles and Wal-mart BUT you will feel as if your miles from nowhere. The home is two stories with the main living area and two of the three bedrooms on the main floor. There is one and a half baths upstairs and a shower downstaris as well. The spectacular views are from every room and there are an abundance of windows to show it all off. I really beleive that we have the best views in all of Murphy. You can see Peachtree and Andrews and at night the lights are just so beautiful!
The decks are incredible. There is one covered with an outdoor dining table and one exposed with lots of seating to sit and enjoy the nature. Our living room area is cozy with a charming gas rock fireplace, comfortable couch and recliners and tasteful art work. We have a bear theme going and love all things “bears”. There are sliders across the whole back of the living room for looking out at our long range mountains. I can't say it enough......The views are truly spectacular!!!!! The kitchen/dining room is airy, cheerful & has everything you will need. Large windows in both bedrooms on the main floor look out over the Mountain ranges insuring the mountins will be the first thing ou see when you awake in the morning. We want the cabin to feel as if it’s your home away from home. Therefore, it has many of our treasures and special touches that we know you will love as much as we do.

DESCRIPTION
Jacuzzi, River, Pasture and Mountain View! Wireless internet, enough parking for a boat or RV and more! This 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-5) cabin features a large deck that has a panoramic view of the Nottley River and Mountain tops. The cabin is located on a paved dead end road that offers privacy, peace and quite. The property looks down on the Nottley River which is approximately 200 feet below at the edge of the property. In a large field across the river, deer, turkeys and geese can be seen from the deck in early morning and at sunset. We have Wireless internet!
Our family/living room has a stone fire place with gas logs. Large dining table and 2 bar stools for extra seating. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a large TV. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a roll-away-bed.
The deck is on the front of the cabin facing the Nottley river with the view of a corn field and mountain peak in the back. It includes covered and uncovered areas. Uncovered area has a picnic table and a gas grill. Covered area has rocking chairs for your enjoyment of the views.
A six person hot tub sits on a covered Gazebo in front of the deck with a knock out view of the Nottley River with great sounds of the rapids on the river.
Nearby attractions are Lake Nottley (boat rentals and ramps) 5 miles away. Lake Hiwassee - 12 miles, Anna Ruby Falls, Georgia, (3-4 hours), Appalachian trail (2-3 hours), Alpine Village of Helen, Georgia (3-4 hours), Atlanta, Georgia (1.5 hours), and Cherokee Indian Reservation including Harrah's Casino (1 hour). Several flea markets are also located within 5 miles of the cabin.
