We do have a small budget but what we are offering is 30 bucks for around an hour of your time, and all you have to do is smoke and talk a little bit about how you got started smoking. The cigarettes will be provided for you.
If this first release does well in sales, then if you choose you will be contacted for another shoot, at a higher rate of pay and you will also be given a percentage of sales. Thats once we have established a fan base and see these videos will say. It is possible this venture could be a flop and you just make 30 bucks for doing something you do countless times everyday!

Established independent production company is making a micro-budget film on location in North Carolina. We have the run of a resort lodge, a chief, a housekeeper, an awesome HD camera package, a notable film director and a killer script, quite literally. Flight of the Cardinal is a tightly-woven, character driven, psychological thriller with one of the most wicked antagonists in film since Eve Harrington and Gregory Anton. We are seeking a select handful of motivated and talented actors and crew members to participate in this unique experience.
CONCEPT:
Our need for creative expression during current economic conditions prompted us to rethink our approach, shelf bigger budget projects, and develop the micro budget feature film titled Flight of the Cardinal. Cardinal is a psychological thriller with five main characters, being shot entirely on location at a lodge in the Smoky Mountains. We will be working with a skeleton crew who, along with the actors, will reside in the lodge (closed for the winter season) during a nineteen-day shoot beginning January 10th. The script’s hero Grady Wilson, a self-exiled former actor and player, battles for his sanity and life against a conniving young local named Beetle. Flight of the Cardinal addresses the philosophy that if a man is to be his best, he must first examine the worst. One enthusiastic reader called it "Gaslight on meds meets The Shining."
In addition to the rarity of the cast and crew residing together on set, we’re happy to announce that revenues generated from this non-union production of Flight of the Cardinal will be divided between the production company’s investors, the Producers, Director, Cast and Crew… for perpetuity. I’d bet the teams on films like Blair Witch, Clerks, Paranormal Activity wish they had this kind of deal.

“Grady Wilson” - He’s a fit, handsome all-American type in his mid-thirties. He is the new hotel proprietor and carries with him some heavy baggage.

He possesses a dangerous combination of confidence, charm and the raw instincts to shine his beacon at anyone bearing a glimmer of carnal intent.
