So.... let's see now.....

They had the time to argue about who gets the 12 year old crappy TV....or the Walmart "China" with mismatched colors.....and probably are still arguing about basic "crap" they accumulated in their sad life together... Yet they DID come up with one thing they can agree upon....they made a decision on things that matter little to them.

The 12 year old German Shepherd and the 10 year old mixed breed dog they had for so many years....
Well... they had their daughter drop them off at the local county KILL shelter! They could not even bother to do it themselves!

Even though they were told that once you give a dog or cat over to the shelter it can be put down ASAP... they cared not. They cared more about the TV that's now probably worth about 50 cents on the open market!

While I'm sorry about their divorce...I can not even THINK of how someone can have a dog for nearly TWELVE YEARS and have it dropped off to be MURDERED at a KILL SHELTER!!!!


I met both of these beautiful dogs..(they are ADOPTABLE AND SWEET)...and I took these bad pictures (sorry..was from my Blackberry BC even though they have cameras there...they had better things to do then post them online)!

BERLIN is a PB German Shepherd who is 12!~ His life long girlfriend is named JODI and is a mixed breed whatchamacallit dog! They are BOTH very friendly and confused beyond belief that they are now on DEATH ROW and have only DAYS left because of typical human selfishness!

I'm calling on all rescues and adopters out there....these dogs are GOOD! They are BOTH "fixed" and will leave with all vaccines up to date if required. I BEG of you to take these two...my wish is that they get to live together...but there are only a few days left in their lives.

EVERY THURSDAY is "execution" Day At Lumpkin County Animal Shelter!

Please HELP me find them a foster, boarding, or whatever it takes to get them out of there in the next two days! (we have until 1pm Thursday)!

They will be about 4-5 lb adults. They are both male so no chance for babies if you house them together.

I adore them both but simply already have a full house and really cant keep them. They are totally tame, dont mind being held and love attention. We have had them as indoor pets but Im sure they would be ok outside if given proper shelter and attention. They have been raised around older children, other rabbits and dogs and are fine with all the noise of a full family.
It would be wonderful to see these guys go to a new home with older kids who will play with them and give them the attention they deserve.


Asking $10 adoption fee for the pair and they are litter mates. No cage or hutch included, just the bunnies.

Eli is nervous around new people and sometimes growls, but he has never shown any aggression. He is easily won over with a few gentle words and tasty treats. Once he realizes that you are okay he wants to be with you. His nervousness around new people is decreasing as he becomes more comfortable in his foster home and is meeting more nice people. He would probably be frightened by young children though. Eli walks well on a leash and enjoys strolls around the neighborhood. He gets along very well with other dogs. He has not been in a house with cats, but on our walks he pays very little attention to any we see, so would probably be fine with them. He is crate trained and is doing very well with housebreaking. He stays in his crate when nobody is home and runs around the house with the other dogs the rest of the time. He has had very few accidents and has learned very quickly where he should and should not go. Eli enjoys helping in the kitchen, watching TV, and hanging out in a dog bed with other dogs. He hasn’t learned to play fetch, but he does enjoy chewing on a Nylabone.

Eli is an easy going and gentle little fellow and would love to be your new best friend.

Though I do enjoy a little bark at the horses once in a while, I don't ever bother the chickens! The people here let me run free on the farm...to burn off some of my energy I suppose...but I don't even leave the yard! I just like running around and patrolling the place. A nice sized, fenced yard would be great if you are not in the country.

You should know I LOVE to be around people and I love attention. I sit on command and will sit for you to pet me. I like playing with balls, I even throw them around by myself...It's loads of fun! I'd love to sleep inside in the laundry room or somewhere like that. So far I have never had an accident inside the house at night. However, I suppose a nice cozy dog house would be OK.

Oh yes, very important...I'm UTD on my shots. I'm Spayed, Heart Worm neg. and on Heart Worm preventative. The people are asking a small fee ($50) to try to get me into a great home. They would also like for you to have a good vet reference.

So, this dog is now available for adoption. He's a sweet boy with lots of energy, loves other dogs and playing. Needs a fenced yard and/or active owners. Housebroken, knows"no" and wants to please. Gentle and submissive, not a runner.

What are you talking about? I used to live in Alaska and I can assure you that people use huskies, malamutes and just about any old dog that wants to run. They use them for skijoring as well. Our malamute loved his runs in the snow. You obviously dont know a thing about dogs! Huskies are an excellent choice for someone who has the time and desire to keep them exercised. Before we moved our dog fell in love with a husky mix gal and I still dont think he is over her. Please dont post on here when you just want to be spiteful. It really doesnt help the folks that are trying to place their animals into loving homes. 1.KNOX is darker coated with brown eyes and mellow. He loves being outside, howling to harmonica music, and going to the dog park.
2. UNDERFOOT is lighter coated with green eyes. He loves to wrestle, chew on his bone, hog the bed, and swim.

These dogs are brothers and super well behaved for their ages. They are super unique and friendly. Awesome xmas dogs!

Juju is a gorgeous 2 year old (approx.) red and white female Siberian Husky taken from a high-kill shelter in Western NC on 11/17/09. Juju would do well with some time indoors as well as outside. She’s very content curled on her pillow bed, but also loves to run and typical to the breed so she needs a fenced yard. In just two short days, Juju has offered kisses, displayed patience and acceptance with veterinary procedures, and rolls over for a little belly rub. She also does well on the leash.
