I have 4 kittens who are looking for their new homes. They are 9 1/2 weeks old. One solid white male, one black and white female, one tortie female, and one solid white female with grey spots on her head. All of them are medium to long haired. These kittens are used to children and are played with daily. They were raised inside till they were about 5 weeks old. Hubby is allergic to cats, so he was sweet enough to let them stay inside that long. Haha! They love it outside, just like their mommy. She was a stray that we took in and are now taking care of. There are rehoming fees on these babies, which will in turn pay for moms spay. Serious inquires only please. The rehoming fee is $20 each kitten, with a smaller fee per kitten, if you take more than one. These kittens are absolutely gorgeous, and so sweet. They come running up to me every time I call them. They love it outside, and are great little hunters. They would probably make good inside kitty cats, but they just love it outside. They run around and play in the trees, flower beds, bank and everything else, all day long. They have all been wormed. We live up on the side of the mountain so there are tons of things for them to do. Haha. Let me know if you are interested. I am willing to meet anyone within a reasonable distance. First, I would like to say that these babies will not be going to just anyone. I want the very best for them.

I am forced to rehome my pair of classic grey sugar gliders. These two are very tame and healthy. Sugar gliders are not pets for children, or companions to other pets. I will only rehome them to an adult, or responsible teenager. Either way, you must be experienced, or have done your research. Please do not contact me asking about the care of sugar gliders, I will only rehome them to someone who is prepared for them NOW. I will not educate anyone on them, as they take months to learn about. I am sorry, but in order to insure they get the best home, I will be very picky.

Serious inquires only please. Please contact me with your experience/knowledge of sugar gliders, diet that you plan to offer, vet, etc.

Once I feel that you would be able to offer them a good home, I will tell you more about them, and you can decide if they are the right pair for you. Hello all! I am looking a for a dog to be a companion to myself, 1 cat, and a 40lb male neutered sharpei mix. My 2nd dog recently passed and I am heartbroken. Myself, and my other dog are both lonely now. Something is missing having just one canine family member around the house.

Breed and age are not important, although I tend to lean towards the gentle giants and since the dog I just lost was a chihuahua, perhaps a dog of that nature. I have a large backyard but my dogs are mostly indoor. I feed premium Blue Buffalo food and all my animals go to the vet annually for vaccines. They are also all microchiped and altered.

I dont mind a reasonable rehoming fee, as long as it is not just to put some money in your pocket (meaning it covers vet bills or supplies).

I promise, my dogs are all spoiled rotten!

So, if you know a four legged friend who needs me as much as I need them, let me know!

I have a black male rat looking for a home. He's not nippy at all and is a really sweet guy! I took in a female rat and surprise suprise- she was pregnant! She gave birth about three days after I got her. So, since I have my hands full with the rescue & her brood, I need to find this little guy a home. He was also a rescue and I've put off finding him a home because he's so cute. It's time though.

He comes with a small animal cage- it's 2 stories & made of wire. It's old, but will definitely keep him in! It's got a solid metal bottom, so no worries about him chewing through & it's taller than it is wide. You'll have to provide a water bottle and bowl though, I need to keep mine for when the brood gets older.

These beautiful pups were born on 5-19-08 to a foster dog that I was keeping until she weaned them, which she did at 3 weeks old. Since then I have been feeding them puppy chow, wet at first but now they are much more partial to dry food. They have had 2 rounds of worming and have had their first set of shots. They are 6 weeks old and are scheduled to have their spay/neuter surgery around July 15th when they are 8 weeks old. They are scheduled for a second round of vaccines on July 9th and another worming.

I have no idea what these puppies are mixed with or how big they will be full grown, the mom was a Dotsun or Daschund mix, about 25 pounds, small height but each of the puppies looks different.

I am looking to start taking deposits (for their adoption fee) on these beautiful pups so that once they have their surgery they can go to their permanant home a few days later.

The adoption fee for these pups is $65 and it covers: 2 rounds of puppy shots, spay/neuter, and 3 rounds of worming. The deposit is $25 and the deposit and adoption fees are non-refundable, so you need to be sure that you have the time to teach and train a puppy and deal with normal puppy issues (housebreaking, chewing) before deciding to get one of these babies. I am sorry if this seems like a lot of rules but I am trying to ensure that these pups do not end up on the street like their mom or in a shelter only to be euthenized. Hi, I am fostering these four beautiful pups for the Madison County Animal Shelter. Let me give you their story...

These pups were left at the gate of the animal shelter when the shelter was closed. The pups were about a week old, their eyes barely open. A lady fostered the pups for 2 weeks, bottle feeding them, and then returned them to shelter when they started going downhill again. I found them at shelter on that same day, extremely dehydrated and full of worms. I wanted to take them home to see if another dog I was fostering (a new mom with pups about their age) would surrogate them but honestly, I didn't think they would make it. The mom dog would not surrogate, I guess she knew they were sick. Anyway, we bottle fed them milk replacer and pedialyte day and night for 3 days before they were ever fully rehydrated. They developed kennel cough so they were put on strong antibiotics and given their bordetella vaccine to clear that up. All went well for about a week and then they got coccidia, a common but fatal condition in puppies. So another round of meds and extra fluids to get them through that. Now it's been 2 weeks and they are happy and healthy. They received their puppy vaccine on 6-24-08 (1st of 3 needed) and have had 3 rounds of wormings. They are eating and drinking great. They are finally healthy enough that I feel comfortable letting them go up for adoption now. I have also started the housebreaking process with them and they should be easily house or crate trained.

Layla- Female, she was in the worst condition of all of them. My husband stayed up for 3 nights in a row taking care of her to make sure she pulled through. She fought every step of the way which is why we named her Layla. She also had some other injuries to her side, hip, and front leg which have mostly healed up now. Has a slight limp on her front left leg when she plays to hard which she may or may not grow out of.

My roommate and I have to move within the next week and a half and haven't been able to find a place that will take our dogs. I have a 7 month old chocolate lab and she has a 1 year old great dane/lab mix. So we're desperate at this point and, sadly, our only other option (short of taking them to a shelter) is to try to find someone that would be willing to take them temporarily. I emphasize the temporarily. But it may be up to 6 months depending on what kind of lease we'd be able to work out.

Both dogs are very active. The dane/lab mix is somewhat skiddish at times and because of his size can easily intimidate people, especially kids. But he's all bark and no bite. The chocolate lab is all puppy and all he wants to do is play and eat (loves to swim). They need yard space or acreage to roam around and definitely need regular walks and exercise.

We would pay for all of their food and vet visits (if needed), and would be by for regular visits. So if you're at all interested please please respond to this ad.

Levi is a beautiful, tri-colored, purebred cocker spaniel. He is available for adoption through Cocker Companions Rescue. He is always a joker and will keep you laughing with his antics. Loves to play ball, loves to receive attention, housetrained, crate trained, smart, and affectionate. He attended a Kids-n-K9s Camp this summer with a little girl who didn't have a dog, and while there, he learned to sit, lay down, and give a hug. He also learned to take a treat which he did not know how to do previously. Levi was a backyard breeder stud dog, but he no longer has the ability (e is neutered). He does not do the humpty hump like other previous stud dogs, and is really a very nice dog. Levi is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, up to date with shots, temperment tested, crate trained, house trained, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. He gets along well with other dogs, but does not like to share his toys and therefore we are calling him a PG-13 dog (no small children please). He was a dream on the grooming table and loves to be bathed and brushed - because of this, we were able to save his wonderful coat.

Neko is a 3 year old pit-whippet mix (we believe). She is a sweet girl who LOVES people and getting lots of exercise. She is fully house and crate trained. Neko is very well behaved, knows all the basic commands (sit, stay, drop, etc.) and loves her walks. She does not jump up on people, loves to cuddle and goes to bed at sun-down, on her own! She is a very devoted dog who will be a wonderful companion for the right family or individual.

The ideal companion for her would be someone who can spend lots of time with her getting her out and exercised, such as a jogger or avid hiker, and give her lots of affection in return. A pocket full of treats makes her better than average! Neko is not always good with other dogs, especially females, and should be in an only dog household or gently introduced to another dog. She is wonderful with humans of all ages (including our infant) and will make a very warm and loving companion for anyone who can be as sweet and loving to her.

A $75 adoption fee applies. All shots, heart worm meds, etc. are all up to date as of April.

7 puppies auditioning for their perfect home! (Marshall)

These beautiful pups were born on 5-19-08 to a foster dog that I was keeping until she weaned them, which she did at 3 weeks old. Since then I have been feeding them puppy chow, wet at first but now they are much more partial to dry food. They have had 2 rounds of worming and have had their first set of shots. They are almost 6 weeks old and are scheduled to have their spay/neuter surgery around July 15th when they are 8 weeks old. They are scheduled for a second round of vaccines on July 9th and another worming.

I have no idea what these puppies are mixed with or how big they will be full grown, the mom was a Dotsun or Daschund mix, about 25 pounds, small height but each of the puppies looks different.

I am looking to start taking deposits (for their adoption fee) on these beautiful pups so that once they have their surgery they can go to their permanant home a few days later.

The adoption fee for these pups is $65 and it covers: 2 rounds of puppy shots, spay/neuter, and 3 rounds of worming. The deposit is $25 and the deposit and adoption fees are non-refundable, so you need to be sure that you have the time to teach and train a puppy and deal with normal puppy issues (housebreaking, chewing) before deciding to get one of these babies. I am sorry if this seems like a lot of rules but I am trying to ensure that these pups do not end up on the street like their mom or in a shelter only to be euthenized. I wanted to take them home to see if another dog I was fostering (a new mom with pups about their age) would surrogate them but honestly, I didn't think they would make it. The mom dog would not surrogate, I guess she knew they were sick. Anyway, we bottle fed them milk replacer and pedialyte day and night for 3 days before they were ever fully rehydrated. They developed kennel cough so they were put on strong antibiotics and given their bordetella vaccine to clear that up. All went well for about a week and then they got coccidia, a common but fatal condition in puppies. So another round of meds and extra fluids to get them through that. Now it's been 2 weeks and they are happy and healthy. They received their puppy vaccine on 6-24-08 (1st of 3 needed) and have had 3 rounds of wormings. They are eating and drinking great. They are finally healthy enough that I feel comfortable letting them go up for adoption now. I have also started the housebreaking process with them and they should be easily house or crate trained.

These dogs deserve the best possible home ever and a great family who is going to love them and spend the rest of these dogs lives trying to make sure that what they went through in the beginning never happens to them again!

Puppies in order of pics:

Sumo- Male, he is twice the size of his litter mates and is going to be a very large dog, hence his name. Incredibly sweet!

Jewels- Female, very sassy and will follow you wherever you go

Layla- Female, she was in the worst condition of all of them. My husband stayed up for 3 nights in a row taking care of her to make sure she pulled through. She fought every step of the way which is why we named her Layla. She also had some other injuries to her side, hip, and front leg which have mostly healed up now. Has a slight limp on her front left leg when she plays to hard which she may or may not grow out of.

Triton- Male, Has a kings' personality and likes to be pampered.

Hello, I have a wonderful lab mix named Brutus who needs a friend to play with. This is one sweet girl! Starry, as she is known, is a poor abandoned dump dog found and rescued in Pembroke. She and her 8 pups were nearly starved to death. Starry has regained her weight and looks and feel wonderful! We suspect her age to be around 3 -6 yrs. and she is very sweet tempered with her Lab like tail constantly sailing.

She is up to date with all shots, and is fixed. Adoption fee is 85.00
